ENGLISH • Make sure there is a grounded AC outlet within 1.5 meters, and working well. • Make sure there is free space for radiating heat and air. • Make sure not to place anything to heavy on top of the switch. ENGLISH 3.3 Mounting the Switch in a rack The dimension of NetMaster G16/24 is designed according to the standard 19” rack- mountable steel case of Electronic Industries Association. Turn off all the equipment connected to the Switch before mounting it in the rack, then rivet the two "L" brackets onto each side of the Switch, fasten it with screws in the rack. ENGLISH 3.4 Power On NetMaster G16/24 Gigabit Ethernet Switch is powered by AC power supply. Powering on the Switch, it will automatically initialize and its LED indicators should respond as follows: 1. All of the Link/Act and 1000Mbps LED indicators will flash momentarily for one 2. second, which represent a resetting of the system. 3. The Power indicator will light up. 4. The FAN LED indicators will light up. If the LED indicators don't respond as described above, please check the power supply and connection. 3.5 Front Panel The front panel of the NetMaster G16/24 consists of switch LED indicators, 16/24 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 ports. LED MEANING Power This indicator will light solid red when the Switch powers up. If theLED is not lit, please check the power supply and connection. FAN (1-2) This indicator will light solid green when the corresponding cooling fan works properly. NetMaster G24 has two FAN LEDs. FAN1 indicates the fan at the right-hand side and FAN2 indicates the fan on the rear panel. NetMaster G16 has one FAN LED. Link/ACT This indicator will light solid green when the corresponding port is connected to another device and will flash green when data is being transmitted or received on the working connection. ENGLISH 1000 Mbps This indicator will light solid green when the corresponding port is connected to a 1000Mbps device. 1000 Mbps This indicator will light solid green when the corresponding port is connected to a 1000Mbps device. The Power LED is not lit • Make sure the AC power Adapter is plugged into an outlet properly and it's connector is plugged into the power jack of the switch. • Make sure the power source is ON. • Make sure you are using the included power adapter supplied with your switch. The Link/Act LED is not lit when a device is connected to the corresponding port • Make sure that the cable connectors are firmly plugged into the Switch and the device. • Make sure the connected device is turned on and its adapter is installed correctly and is working. • The cable must be less than 100 meters long. 3.6 Rear Panel The rear panel of the NetMaster G16/24 only features a power receptacle, which is an AC power receptacle. Connect the female of the power cord head here, and the male head to the AC power outlet. 4 Product Support If you have any problems with this device, please consult this manual.
