An extension cord detensioner is included with the trimmer. The safety features of the UH 4540, 5540, 6540 hedge trimmers are state of the art and meet all international standards. These safety features include 3 grip safeties, 2-hand safety hold and a quick-stop function for the blade. In order to ensure the proper functioning and performance of your new hedge trimmer, and to safeguard your own personal safety, it is imperative that you read this instruction manual thoroughly before operation.
