"Closing the rack door" on page 51 8.8 Removing a non-hot-plug expansion card Authorized personnel Authorized specialist personnel can carry out replacement tasks for integral server components. Ask you local Fujitsu service center for more detailed information. V CAUTION! Procedures indicated as "Authorized personnel only“ must be done by Fujitsu service personnel or technicians trained by Fujitsu for doing these tasks. Please note that unauthorized interference with the system will void the warranty and exempt the manufacturer from all liability. V CAUTION! . Before installing/removing expansion cards to/from the server, turn off the server, all peripheral devices, and any other connected devices. Also unplug all power cables from the power outlet. Failure to do so can cause electric shock. . The circuit boards and soldered parts of internal options are exposed and can be damaged by static electricity. Before handling them, first touch a metal part on the server to discharge static electricity from your body. . Do not touch the circuitry on boards and soldered parts.
