Overview
HP Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Multimedia and USB Enhancements software provides multimedia
and USB device redirection to reduce the limitations sometimes associated with Microsoft Remote
Desktop Protocol and the VMware View 3 (or VDI) desktop experience.
Enhanced Multimedia Experience on an RDP Connection
Available for HP Thin Clients running the Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded or Windows®
Embedded Standard operating system, HP RDP Enhancements improves audio and video
performance over RDP connections.
Extends USB Connectivity
Enjoy access to USB-connected devices such as drive keys, local printers, and scanners by redirecting
USB communication between the thin client and the remote desktop session.
