Attach 4 to back panels using 2 bolts (E). Step 19 Attach top hood panels A. Attach 8 to 12 and 13 using 3 bolts (E). B. Attach 6 to 10 and 11 using 3 bolts (E). Step 23 Assemble and attach top A. Attach chimney screen base to hood using 4 bolts (E). B. Screw 4 pegs (H) to top. C. Attach chimney screen to pegs using 4 medium screws (B). D. Insert chimney top assembly into chimney screen base. Step 26 Insert wood grate Step 27 Assemble spark guard A. Attach handles to spark guard using 4 screws (A). B. Attach legs to spark guard using 4 screws (A). Step 24 Insert firebox base (51) Note: The side with the indentations closest to the edge of the firebox base, should be placed toward the rear firebox panel. Step 28 Place spark guard into firebox opening Step 25 Assemble wood grate Attach wood grate legs to wood grate using 4 large screws (C). Step 29 Completed Congratulations your assembly is now complete. Read Operating Instructions before proceed. Operating Instructions WARNING FOR YOUR SAFETYBefore using this outdoor fireplace, make sure you have read, understand and are following all information provided in the Important Safeguards presented on page 2. Failure to follow those instructions can cause death, serious injury or property damage. Lighting 1. Remove all ashes and wood from prior fires. 2. Place a layer of dry kindling or a natural firestarter such as Fatwood™ onto the center of the grate. 3. Place above that a layer of dry seasoned hardwood that is cut to lengths no more than 14”. 4. Use a match to light kindling or firestarter. 5. Once fire is started, securely install spark guard. Tending the Fire You may need to shift and/or add logs for an ideal experience. Reminders: • Always wear protective gloves or a pot holder when tending a fire. • Wait until glowing coals have developed before adding any additional wood. • Do NOT add gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lighter fluid or alcohol to relight or enhance an existing fire. 1. Carefully remove spark guard from firebox opening. 2. Using poker provided, shift coals and logs to allow additional airflow. WARNING: Poker will be hot. Handle properly to prevent burns. Do NOT place hot fireplace tools onto combustible surfaces such as grass, wooden deck or furniture. 3. If additional wood is required, place wood on top coals. Be careful not to shift ashes. 4. Replace spark guard. Extinguishing 1. Allow fire to burn itself out. 2. Do NOT use water to extinguish as this is dangerous and can cause damage to this outdoor fireplace. Cleaning & Care Inspecting This outdoor fireplace should be inspected on a regular basis to ensure product safety and longer product life. Do NOT attempt to inspect this outdoor fireplace until the fire is COMPLETELY out. 1. Check all parts to make sure they are secure and not worn or damaged 2. If damage to any component is detected, do NOT operate until repairs are executed. 3. Check chimney for any signs of blockage or dust. 4. Clear any blockage or repair rust. Do NOT operate until blockage is removed and rust is repaired. Cleaning This outdoor fireplace should be cleaned on a regular basis to promote safer experiences and longer product life. Note: Soot and heat from burning may discolor firebox and marble. Do NOT attempt to clean this outdoor fireplace until the fire is COMPLETELY out.
