In addition ensure the input is set at MAX. MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE ROOM ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS The installation may be fitted with several additional environmental controls. A room thermostat may be fitted in the room. This thermostat controls the operation of the heater fan. Adjust the setting until a comfortable environment is achieved. Note however the higher the thermostat setting the higher the running costs. Where duct work is installed individual rooms will be fitted with supply air registers. If a room is not in use the supply registers can be closed. A washable filter is fitted to ensure the warm air distributed is clean and free from dust. The filter is located in the detachable lower panel and should be washed in warm soapy water at least twice a year (see Fig. B). The filter panel can be removed by pulling the top end away from the heater and lifting out the location hooks. To maintain the appearance of the heater, wipe occasionally with a dry cloth when the heater is cool. Do not use abrasive powders or furniture polish. IMPORTANT - Do not remove any panel before isolating the heating unit from all electrical supplies. Additional maintenance should only be carried out by a trained engineer or electrician. When required contact your local electricity board or the installer. Regular inspection should take place, at least every two years.
