It works on two R6 1.5 Volt “penlight” alkaline batteries model AA (not included). Philips LR6 batteries are recommended for their long working life. q Note: alkaline batteries contain substances which may pollute the environment. Please dispose of your old batteries at an officially assigned place. English Francais Deutsch Met uw nieuwe afwasbare Ladyshave apparaat kunt u ongewenste haartjes snel en gemakkelijk verwijderen. Het apparaat werkt op twee 1,5 Volt alkaline “AA penlight” batterijen (niet bijgeleverd). Wegens hun lange levensduur adviseren wij Philips LR6 alkalinebatterijen. q N.b. Alkalinebatterijen bevatten stoffen die schadelijk kunnen zijn voor het milieu. Lever daarom uw oude batterijen in op een door de overheid daartoe aangewezen Nederlands plaats. Belangrijk • Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing en bekijk de plaatjes goed voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt. • Regelmatig schoonmaken en goed onderhoud verzekert u van de beste resultaten en geeft uw apparaat de langste levensduur. • Let erop dat uw handen en de Ladyshave goed droog zijn wanneer u de batterijen in het apparaat plaatst. • Zorg ervoor dat uw Ladyshave goed waterdicht blijft: - Houd de rubber afsluitring van de batterijenruimte schoon en vermijd beschadiging ervan. - Vet de afsluitring van tijd tot tijd in met wat vaseline. • Voorkom schade door lekkage van batterijen. Quando saranno esaurite non gettatele tra i rifiuti comuni ma portatele in un luogo di raccolta opportunamente predisposto. Italiano Importane • Prima di usare l'apparecchio, leggete le istruzioni per l'uso e guardate con attenzione le relative illustrazioni. • Una manutenzione ed una pulizia regolari assicurano ottimi risultati e garantiscono una piu lunga durata dell'apparecchio. • Quando inserite le pile, assicuratevi che le vostre mani e l'apparecchio siano perfettamente asciutti. • Per mantenere impermeabile il Ladyshave: - Mantenete pulito e integro l'anello in gomma a protezione del comparto pile. - Di tanto in tanto applicate un poco di vaselina sull'anello in gomma. • Per evitare che un'eventuale perdita di liquido dalle pile danneggi l'apparecchio: - togliete le pile se prevedete di non usare l'apparecchio per un mese o per un periodo di tempo piu lungo. General description (fig. 1) A Protective cap. Please keep the protective cap on your Ladyshave when not in use. The protective cap prevents the shaving foil and two trimmers from being damaged. B Shaving head. The shaving head is equipped with two trimmers ((C) and (E)) and a shaving foil (D). C Straight trimmer. Designed to remove longer hairs from arms, legs and bikini area. D Shaving foil. With the shaving foil you remove the shorter hairs. E Curved trimmer. Specially designed to shave under arms. F On/off switch (slide). A = on O = off G Battery chamber. H Cover of battery chamber. I Brush. (The brush clips into the protective cap.) Inserting batteries - Switch the appliance off. - Remove the battery compartment cover (H) by pulling in the direction of the arrow (fig. 2). - Insert two 1.5 Volt alkaline penlight batteries exactly as illustrated (fig. 3). Please note the diagrams moulded into the battery chamber. - Replace the cover by pushing it on to the appliance (“Click!”). How to use your Ladyshave On wet skin You can use your Ladyshave on wet skin, e.g. while having a bath or shower. The best results are obtained if you lather the skin (with soap or shaving cream) before use (fig. 4). On dry skin If you prefer to use the shaver dry, please ensure that your skin is clean and absolutely dry. • Handling the appliance on wet or dry skin is the same. • Do not apply alcohol based lotions directly before or after use. However, talcum powder can be used. • Avoid pressing the shaving head too hard against the skin as this will adversely affect the shaving performance and may cause some skin irritation. • Arms and legs - Switch on by sliding switch (F) to position A (fig. 5).-Stretch the skin taut with your free hand so that the hairs stand up. - Place the straight trimmer (C) and the shaving foil (D) gently on the skin. - Move the Ladyshave slowly and with light pressure against the direction of the growth of the hairs. (Fig. 6.) - Switch the appliance off after use by sliding switch (F) to position O (fig. 8). • Under arms - Switch on by sliding switch (F) to position A (fig. 5). - Stretch the skin by keeping the upper arm high. - Place the rounded trimmer (E) and the shaving foil (D) gently on th...
