C . Taking the shaving head out of the cassette: -Remove the appliance from the cassette. -Tilt the shaving head until it is released. Grab the plastic par t of the shaving head and pull it out of the cassette. Charging the appliance Charge the appliance for at least 12 hours in the charging unit before you use the appliance for the first time or if you have not used the appliance for quite some time. A fully charged batter y has a shaving time of 20 minutes (NiCd version) or 35 minutes (NiMH version). Check the symbol on the package to determine which version you have obtained. Inserting the Nivea Body sachet 1 Take the lotion dispenser and push it into the Nivea Body sachet until it is firmly seated. ENGLISH 2 Open the transparent lid. C C C C C 3 4 Click the sachet with inserted lotion dispenser into the appliance. Close the transparent lid. Using the appliance If the hairs to be removed are ver y long (if your last shave was more than two months ago), we advise you to shave without using Nivea Body shaving lotion first. After that, apply Nivea Body shaving lotion and shave the remaining stubble. 1 2 Switch the appliance on by pressing the on/off button. Place the shaving head on the skin and move it against the direction of the hair growth. 3 Press the dosing button repeatedly during shaving to apply Nivea Body shaving lotion. When using a new sachet, you may need to press the dosing button a couple of times before shaving lotion is released. 6 ENGLISH C C C If there is still some shaving lotion left on your skin after the shave, you can rub it into your skin as a moisturising lotion. The Nivea Body shaving lotion was developed for use during dr y shaving.You can also use the Ladyshave Skin Comfor t in the shower. If you do so, apply soap or shaving foam for the most comfor table shave. Cleaning the appliance Clean the appliance ever y time you have used it. Do not use any alcohol, acetone, petrol, abrasive cleaning agents etc. to clean the plastic par ts. 1 Open the transparent lid, remove the lotion dispenser with the Nivea Body sachet and rinse the appliance with warm water. Do not exer t any pressure on the shaving head to prevent it from getting damaged. 2 3 Remove the shaving head. Brush the opening for the Nivea Body lotion properly while rinsing it under a warm tap. ENGLISH C C 4 5 Brush the cutter block and the trimmer while rinsing them under a warm tap. After re-inserting the Nivea Body sachet, pump several times to ensure that the lotion dispenser is filled with lotion. Replacing the Nivea Body sachet Open the transparent lid. Remove the empty Nivea Body sachet with the lotion dispenser attached. Remove the lotion dispenser from the Nivea Body sachet. 1 2 3 Do not throw the lotion dispenser away! 4 Rinse the lotion dispenser under the warm tap while pumping a few times. 5 Push the lotion dispenser into a new Nivea Body sachet until it is properly seated. 6 Click the new Nivea Body sachet with the lotion dispenser into the applianc...
