• Use only the supplied AC adaptor to charge the batter y. 1 Slide the OFF ON switch to OFF position. English EN 17 2 Connect the supplied AC adaptor to the player and to the AC outlet. » The charge indicator turns on. It takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge the batter y. » When the batter y is fully charged, the charge indicator turns off. Tip • You can only change the batter y when the temperature is between 32°F (0°C) and 95°F (35°C). • When headphones are connected to the DVD player, the fully charged batter y lasts about 2 hours. • When the power is low, the batter y icon is shown on the upper-left corner of the screen for warning. • To maximize batter y life, recharge the batter y immediately once the batter y is fully discharged. If you do not use the player for a long time, recharge the batter y once ever y two months. 18 EN Install remote control battery Caution English • Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard batteries in fi re. • Risk of decreased batter y life! Never mix different brands or types of batteries. • Risk of product damage! For fi rst-time use: • Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control batter y. To replace the remote control battery: 1 Open the batter y compar tment. 2 Inser t 1 CR2025 batter y with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. 3 Close the batter y compar tment. EN 19 Connect headphones Plug the headphones into the jack of the player. Connect additional equipment Caution • Turn off your player before connecting to any additional equipment. You can connect the player to a TV or an amplifier to enjoy DVDs or Karaoke. • Connect a TV Match the color of the AV cables (not supplied) with the jacks: the yellow cable is for the yellow video jack, the red/white cable is for the red/white audio jacks.
