Steam cooking The p Steam cooking setting can only be used in conjunction with the system steam cooker (available as an accessory from specialist retailers). Only switch Steam cooking on when the cooking compartment has cooled down completely (room temperature). Wait until the cooking compartment has cooled down and switch Steam cooking on again. The steam cooking process is controlled automatically. Notes . You will find further useful information in the instruction manual included with the system steam cooker Yoghurt You can also make home-made yoghurt with your appliance. The inner door panel on the appliance door has a coating which can have the effect of a light-coloured film. Cleaning the cooking compartment Caution! Risk of damaging the surface. Clean with a brush and sponge or wash in the dishwasher. Keeping the appliance clean Clean the cooking compartment after each use, as dirt will bake on the next time it is heated up, and this can only be removed with difficulty. Always remove flecks of limescale, grease, starch and albumin (e.g. egg white) immediately. Where possible use the Hot air operating mode. This operating mode creates less dirt. Self-cleaning surface The back wall of the cooking compartment is coated with self- cleaning enamel. This coating absorbs and disintegrates splashes from baking and roasting while the oven is in operation. Large splashes only disappear after the oven has been used several times. Discolouration on the rear wall does not affect the self-cleaning function. Caution! Damage to surfaces on self-cleaning areas due to applying oven cleaner.Never clean the self-cleaning surfaces with oven cleaner. If oven cleaner accidentally gets onto self-cleaning surfaces, remove it immediately with a sponge and plenty of water. Caution!
