Work piece and Work area Set up 1. Designate a work area that is clean and well-lit. 3. Secure loose workpieces using a vise or clamps The work area must not allow access by children (not included) to prevent movement while working. or pets to prevent distraction and injury. 4. There must not be hazardous objects 2. Route the air hose along a safe route to reach (such as utility lines or foreign objects) nearby the work area without creating a tripping hazard that will present a hazard while working. or exposing the air hose to possible damage. Item 93100 General Operating instructions 1. If an automatic oiler is not used, add a few drops of Pneumatic Tool Oil to the airline connection before use. Add a few drops more after each hour of continual use. note: Turn off the air compressor and disconnect the air hose when changing sockets. note: Only use impact sockets on this tool. 2. Select the desired size 3/8" drive socket (sold separately). 3. Push the socket onto the Anvil until it clicks into place. 4. Connect the air hose and turn on the air compressor. 5. Adjust the Air Regulator on the Impact Wrench as needed from 1 through 8 to set the amount of torque. 6. If tightening, tighten by hand as much as possible. 7. Position the socket on the Impact Wrench over the fastener/hardware. 8. Grip the Impact Wrench firmly with two hands and rock the Throttle Lever in the direction you want to rotate the fastener/hardware: • To loosen a standard fastener/hardware, press on the left side of the Throttle Lever (Reverse - counterclockwise rotation) • To tighten a standard fastener/hardware, press on the right side of the Throttle Lever (Forward - clockwise rotation). cautiOn! Do not hold the socket during use. 9. When the fastener/hardware is tightened or loosened, release the Throttle. 10. If the tool requires more force to accomplish the task, verify that the tool receives sufficient, unobstructed airflow (CFM) and increase the pressure (PSI) output of the regulator up to the maximum air pressure rating of this tool. cautiOn! tO pREVEnt injuRy FRO...
