Video/Picture/Music Playback Displaying Still Images (JPEG files) CD-R CD-RW DVD-R DVD-RW USB This Player can display still images (JPEG files) recorded on CD-R/RW discs, DVD-R/RW discs and USB memory devices. • For details on the still images that you can display using this player, refer to page 7. • Still images are played one by one while during “Slide show”, they are automatically replaced one after another. Setting slide show speed/repeat playback 1 Press D (Yellow) (Slide Show Menu) while the selection screen is displayed. • The setting screen for “Slide Show Speed”/“Repeat Mode Setting” appears. 2 Press a/b to select “Slide Show Speed”, then press d or ENTER. 3 Press a/b to select the desired speed, then press ENTER. • The slide show speed may be selected from “Fast”, “Normal”, “Slow1” and “Slow2”. 4 Press a/b to select “Repeat Mode Setting”, then press d or ENTER. 5 Press a/b to select the desired item, then press ENTER. • The desired item may be selected from “Yes” or “No”. 6 Press EXIT to exit. 30 Video/Picture/Music Playback Instantly Watching Movies from Netflix Please check that the most current software is loaded on this player by using the software update function (See pages 45–47) or by visiting sharpusa.com/products/support/ to check for a download of the newest software version. This function allows you to enjoy Netflix through the Internet. Netflix is an online DVD and Blu-ray Disc rental service, offering rental-by mail and streaming instantly to Netflix unlimited members. • To enjoy this function, make a broadband Internet connection to both your PC and this player (See page 18), and then set communication settings (See pages 42–43), then perform the following operation. • Before using this function, please read “Network Service Disclaimer” (page 56). NOTE • Disc playback and this function cannot be used at the same time. • As the registration process takes time, we recommend setting “Auto Power Off” to “No” before starting the registration.
