If needed the oven set temperature may be adjusted at any time. Setting Bake The BAKE _-a_) pad controls normal baking. If preheating is necessary, refer to the PREHEAT _ feature for V instructions. The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170°F to 550°F (The sample shown below is for 350°F). INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAY To set the Bake Temperature to 350°F: t. Arrange interior oven racks and place food in oven. 2. Press _, 350° will automatically appear in the display Fig. 1 (See Fig. 1). 3. Press _'_. A long beep will sound once the oven set temperature reaches 350 ° F (See Fig. 2). Fig. 2 Note: Pressing (_ will cancel the Bake feature at any time. INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAY To program the oven to begin baking immediately and to shut off automatically: (example below to bake at 350°F for 50 minutes): 1. Arrange interioroven rack(s) and place the food in the oven. Fig. 1 2. Press Ba_ (See Fig.l). 3. Press (See Fig. 2). Fig. 2 4. Press @ (See Fig.3). 5. Enter the desired baking time by pressing _r5_(_). Note: Baking time can be set for any amount of time between 1 Fig. 3 minute to 11 hours and 59 minutes. (See Fig. 4) 6. Press (_. (See Fig. 5 ) Note: After the Cook Time feature has activated, press _Tci°°b to Fig. 4 display the bake time remaining in the Cook Time mode. Once Cook Time has started baking, a long beep will sound when the oven temperature reaches the set temperature. Press 0 when baking has finished or at any time to cancel the Fig. 5 Q Cook Time feature. When the Cook Time finishes: 1. "End" and the time of day will show in the display. Fig. 6 Use caution with the Cook Time or Delay Start functions. Use the Cook Time function when cooking cured or frozen meats and most fruits and vegetables. Foods that can easily spoil such as milk, eggs, fish, meat or poultry, should be chilled in the refrigerator first. Even when chilled, they should not stand in the oven for more than 1 hour before cooking begins, and should be removed PROMPTLY when cooking is complete. Eating spoiled food can result in sickness from food poisoning. 23 Setting Oven Controls • Setting Delay Start Setting Delay Start The feature. The BAKE (_, OVEN COOK TIME _j_ and DELAY START @ pads control the Delay Start automatic timer of the DELAY START feature will turn the oven ON and OFF at the times you select. INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAY To program the oven for a Delay Start and to shut off automatically (example for baking at 375°F for 50 minutes and starting at 5:30): 1. Be sure that the clock is set with the correct time of day. Fig. 1 2. Arrange interior oven rack(s) and place the food in the oven. 3. Press @ (See Fig. 1) 4. Enter the desired baking time using the number key pads by Fig. 2 pressing (__ (See Fig. 2). Note: Baking time may be set for any amount of time from 1 minute to 11 hours and 59 minutes. 5.
