Introduction Welcome to the extraordinary world of Altec Lansing Multimedia high fidelity sound. The patented Altec Lansing Multimedia Computer Speaker System provides the best computer audio possible. You can plug these computer speaker systems into a PC audio card and vastly enhance any business presentation, training, education or advertising, music or video production with the same level of audio quality you are used to hearing from a music CD. These speaker systems can also be used with any multimedia home computer, CD player or video interactive game to provide a total intelligent audio solution which is practical and affordable. Description The AC45.2 is an amplified speaker system featuring a subwoofer for extended low frequency response. The system is especially designed for multimedia computer near field monitoring. A patented control circuit automatically boosts bass at low volume to maintain musical sound “realism.” Electronic up/down controls adjust system volume. The subwoofer has a separate volume control for blending the subwoofer level with the satellites to the listeners preference. The satellite speakers have a detachable base that allows the speakers to be angled upwards if desired for better directivity of sound. The satellites are magnetically shielded to prevent distortion of monitor images. Please note, that the subwoofer is NOT magnetically shielded and should not be placed in close proximity to the monitor. ACS45.2 Setup Instructions Do not put the power plug into an AC outlet before all connections are made. For easy insertion of the DIN connector, notice that the arrow must face up.
